Welcome! Vietnam Internet Forum 2017 will discuss Internet’s contribution to an open, sustainable and innovative society. Focus is on Internet accessibility and digital solutions for social impact under the theme #DigitalforGood. VIF17 is a platform for intersectoral discussion and interaction taking place on 27-28 November in Hanoi.
This year’s sessions range from how access to Internet and open data contribute to transparency and accessibility to how digital technology advances sustainable development. Speakers and participants include government officials, civil society representatives, academia, investors, business leaders and social entrepreneurs. Side events will display a variety of digital innovations and solutions. The evening reception offers a chance to discuss and network with senior business leaders, policy makers and investors.
#VIF17 is co-hosted by the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi and the Ministry of Information and Communications. Co-organizers and partners are Vietnam Program for Internet & Society, Lund University Internet Institute – LUii, Vietnam Internet Association, UNDP Việt Nam and UNESCO Office in Viet Nam.
