The “.Asia” TLD was launched in a phased approach between Q3 of 2007 through to Q2 of 2008. To celebrate our 5 Year anniversary — www.5years.asia — a special promotion was launched with registrars. The promotion allowed participating registrars to lower the first year adoption price for new registrants and sparked strong growth for the demand of .Asia domains. The program was launched in 2 phases spanning the months of celebration of Sunrise to Go Live launch of .Asia.
